Resumen

MAGNE, María; VELASCO, Isaac; ABASTOFLOR, Santiago  y  PORCEL, Santiago. "We Want to Fly": Socio Affective Situation on Incarcerated Women at San Roque Penitentiary. 2015. Rev. Cien. Tec. In. [online]. 2015, vol.10, n.11, pp.643-656. ISSN 2225-8787.

This research is a descriptive one, and was made at "San Roque's" prison spaces in the city of Sucre, during 2015. It analyses the affective situation of women deprived of liberty using theoretical methods, synthesis-analysis, inductive-deductive, and document review; it uses empirical methods such as non-participant observation, based on interviews and dialogue. The affective reality of women deprived of their liberty is described in four categories: i) deprivation of liberty, ii) family and social interaction, iii) interpersonal relationships struggles, iv) self-awareness and self-assessment, and v) motivation, outlining a comprehensive training process, that allows them to practice a life with dignity, understood as the exercise of decision-making and responsibility for their own actions, so these actions should raise a point to manage spaces that could enable them to develop or strengthen capacities of recognition of affection and emotions, observation, interpretation, analysis and respect for life; all of this considering ethic principles regarding mutual and reciprocal coexistence, enabling their social reintegration.

Palabras clave : Socio Affectivity; Deprived Freedom; Comprehensive Training; Social Reinsertion.
