Abstract: In Argentina the use of renewable energies is recent and yet not so much extended. Within the renewable energies, the photovoltaic solar (SFV) connected to the network, is between the ones that has the greatest potential for integration into the urban environment. Despite the sanction of national law 24.424 /17 about promotion of renewable energies two years ago, very few has been done, specially in Buenos Aires. Nevertheless, the interest of population for these energies grows. In this research, we have done a microeconomic study, of feasibility and financial, about the installation of solar energy in a single household residence; this installation could contribute to reach energy autonomy for the families and in a gradual way, to get the country necessary transition from fossil energies to renewable ones.
