Objectives To communicate the utility of the endoscopic ultrasonography in the diagnosis and the therapeutic decisión in the gastrointestinal subepithelial tumors. Discussion We emphasize the most important aspects for diagnosis and treatment of the endoscopic ultrasound method in subepithelial tumors of the gastrointestinal tract.
