Most of Communication employment areas are still characterized by an instrumental emphasis using technological resources in the production and emission of messages. All of this caused the low social recognition of its academic and work status but also the confusion with jobs related with other disciplines, many of them just technical. However, others are rather connected to humanistic and scientific profiles and have enough capability to set Communication, today and in the near future, between the strategic fields of knowledge.  This area’s human resources training processes need a closer interaction with the job market, the technological improvements and the social dynamic which set up not only some specific requirements but conditions for a specialized performance too.
