Endometriosis is defined as the presence of endometrial glands and stroma at extrauterine sites. Its incidence is only 1.6- 2.4%. The diagnosis lies in visualization by colposcopy, taking a biopsy and histopathological confirmation. The objective of the present case is to expose the unusual presence of endometrial tissue in the cervix, as well as to emphasize the symptoms and timely diagnosis, to improve the quality of life of the patients. We present the case of a 48-year-old patient with a pathological history of arterial hypertension and hypothyroidism, who presented with heavy menstrual bleeding lasting 4 days, leucorrhea, and moderate dysmenorrhea. On gynecological examination, a centered cervix is observed, in the region of the exocervix in radius 11-12 a lesion measuring 1x1 cm is observed, purplish-reddish, indurated, not bleeding, sessile, not painful. An excisional biopsy is performed and the histopathological result reports cervical endometriosis. The patient evolved satisfactorily, without complications.
