CARDOZO, Adrian. The presence of stress in teachers by sex and work context. Revista de Psicologia [online]. 2017, n.18, pp.43-57. ISSN 2223-3032.

Abstract The present study focuses on the evaluation of the psycho-somatic manifestations of stress presented by those who work in teaching, be they women or men, pri-mary or secondary school teachers, public or private school teachers, or perform in schools Urban or rural areas. The methodological approach is descriptive, not experimental, transectional. We workwith a non-probabilistic sample. The results allow access to the indexes of symptoms associated with stress pre-sented by educators evaluated using the standardized instrument described in the methodology chapter, which considers four indicators of stress (somatization, depression, interpersonal sensitivity and anxiety). The discussion of the results is developed, contextualizing the data and structuring the answers to the research questions that guided and delimited the study. The conclusions of the research are presented in relevance to the research questions raised. It is importantto highlight the emergence of new questions that may well motivate future research.
