The transition towards an information society of knowledge opens the question of how the new pedagogical communication should be given in these circumstances, adapting teaching to time seems to be a latent problem. The accelerated technological and scientific progress, mixed with the health emergency that drives digitization. The aim of this study was to analyze synchronous communication skills to strengthen contemporary educational development. To this end, a literature review was conducted under the category of communication skills in virtual environments in the context of the pandemic, for which primary and secondary sources were reviewed. It is concluded that, without a successful communication in the exercise of teaching and learning within the digital field, the new educational era will encounter great difficulties of development by presenting a gap between the new pedagogical tools and the form of interaction with non-renewed communicative skills.
