In Peru there are programs within the national public policies that allow professionals in agricultural areas to develop activities within urban agriculture. For this, the Municipality of Ate through the municipal program EDUCCA, promotes the pilot project of sustainable urban agriculture. identify the guidelines for the elaboration of the Work Plan 2022 of the Municipal Program EDUCCA within the Municipality of Ate in the framework of urban agriculture. For this purpose, a cross-sectional documentary study was carried out under a descriptive analysis. For the collection of information, the guidelines for the elaboration of the 2022 Work Plan of the Municipal EDUCCA Program and the Municipal Program of Education, Culture and Environmental Citizenship (Municipal EDUCCA Program) were considered. Through this study it was possible to identify the existing environmental policies within the District Municipality of Ate, some of the programs discussed were the urban agriculture initiative, a pioneer plan.
