Lover respiratory infections associated with invasive mechanical ventilation are complications of hospital care, it is one of the most frequent emergencies with high morbidity, mortaly and cost, regarless of technological and therapeutic advances. Hence the importance of the research that identified the current state of nursing intention to the intubated patient with invasive mechanical ventilation. In this context, the objetive of the research work was to depelop a Nursug Care Model to prevent lower respiratory infection in intubated patients with invasive mechanical ventilation assistence in the Adult Invasive Care Unit. The methods that were used: analysis-syntesis, historical-logical, introducction- decoction, modeling, dialectical method, systemic-structural, holistic- holographic, funtional; empirical method survey, systematic, documentary review. The universo was comprised of 308 patients and the simple was 108 patients in the Adult Invasive Care Unit 10 nursing graduates. The results there is a dichotomy between the surveys and the systematic observation guide due to the following analysis; oral higiene is carried out on the patients involved, survey 60%, every 6 hours, systemic observation 30% every 6 hours. Conclusions with the development of a Nursing Care Model for intubated patients with lower respiratory infections associated with invasive mechanical ventilation, it wil be posible to prevent and improve care.
