BLANCO, Mario  e  CASTRO CH., Paola. Comparative analysis of organizational commitment expressed by mothers and childless women. Ajayu [online]. 2011, vol.9, n.2, pp.215-233. ISSN 2077-2161.

According to Meyer and Allen (1997)the organizational commitment model has three components: affective, which concerns an emotional attachment by the employee to the Organization, she is proud to be part of the Organization; the commitment to stay has a material attachment between the employee’s and the organization, the employee stay in the organization because they hoped to be awarded by the investments made and the final component is the policy commitment, which is a sense of obligation to remain in the organization by the employee for all the profits. The objectives were to compare the level of organizational commitment among mothers and not mothers, which works in a bank, like cashiers’, in La Paz city. Identify the type of commitment that stands out most in mothers, not mothers and both populations. I come to the conclusion that there is no significant difference between mothers and not mothers in relation to the organizational commitment and will note important concentrations of both populations both in high and low ranges. The organizational  commitment most outstanding between mothers,  not mothers and both populations, is the commitment to policy, this may be due to the benefits and the Bank’s internal policies.
