Abstract In the understanding that prosociality is the capacity of people that focuses on benefiting others without expecting anything in return, the present research aims to diagnose the level of prosocial behavior existing in students of the Law School of the Public University of El Alto - UPEA, by means of the objective test developed by Auné, Abal, and Attoresi, known as the Prosocial Behavior Test. From the quantitative approach, a series of general results are obtained in which the item "sometimes" is the most frequent among students, indicating that 32% develop prosocial behaviors. The results are shown by gender, highlighting those men have prosocial behaviors in a higher proportion than women. Based on the theoretical review, it was considered pertinent to analyze the results in the Help and Comfort dimensions. The item "sometimes" is the most frequent in the Help dimension with 39%; In the Comfort dimension, the item "almost always" is the most frequent with 26%. Based on the results, it was determined that the level of prosocial behavior of UPEA Law students is medium
