CARREON-GUILLEN, Javier; BUSTOS-AGUAYO, José Marcos y GARCIA-LIRIOS, Cruz. Exploratory factor model of ecocentric governance in the COVID-19 era. Ajayu [online]. 2023, vol.21, n.1, pp.74-90. Epub 31-Mar-2023. ISSN 2077-2161. https://doi.org/10.35319/ajayu.211199.
This article establishes the differences between anthropocentric governance and ecocentric governance in the management of energy and water resources and services. An exploratory, cross-sectional and psychometric study was carried out with a non-probabilistic selection of 100 officials and users of the electricity and water service. The Carreón Guillén Governance Inventory (2022) was used and the three prevailing factors were obtained: conflict, negotiation-consensus and self-regulation-co-responsibility. In relation to the scenario of scarcity of resources, the applications for the design of energy and water policies based on tariffs according to the scarcity of resources are discussed.
